I am Martin Newell, founder and CEO of MiSalvo. Privacy-first life admin for sandwich households.

I was born in Ireland. I have lived and worked in London, Hong Kong, San Francisco, and New York. I’m a father of two daughters. They are grown now. I still help look after elderly parents. I lived the sandwich generation. In every place I lived, I saw the same quiet problem.

Why this product

I built MiSalvo to help sandwich households around the world deal with daily life, and to take some of the heavy load off.

The challenge is split attention. Papers live in drawers and inboxes. Someone always asks, can you send me that. You cannot send what you cannot find. For the people you look after, helping them with their life admin is a huge time investment. It is often complicated. MiSalvo is designed to simplify this.

Library is one clear place to search for benefits. It is always free. Money and Benefits, country by country, with official links only. Not advice. Never “you qualify.”

A note on the name

MiSalvo comes from the Latin salvare “to save”: me salvo, mi salvo I save myself. People have figured out no one is coming to save them. MiSalvo is how they save themselves hours of life admin. A Salvo is also the pack you fire: documents gathered, checked, and released together, aimed at one target.

In one paragraph

MiSalvo is the evidence layer for sandwich households. You capture a paper when it arrives. It sits in a Vault that our own staff cannot open. We are not an AI agent on all the time, scanning your life. We do our job when you need it, then stay in the background until you need us again. Your household shares only what it chooses. When you need the published rules for money or benefits, Library is always free, with official links. When an institution asks you to prove something, a Salvo makes sure the pack is complete before it goes. You send it. Never us.
